The Simple Sconce is constructed with a ceramic shade and backplate piece tied together by a simple curve of rod. The metal can be patinated or brushed to a matte finish. This fixture has a small brass on/off switch that can be oriented to preference during the installation. The switch can also be omitted completely upon request.
The light cast is direct from the opening of the shade as the clay body is not translucent.
GLAZE: The Terracotta colorway is the natural clay in its raw unglazed state. Hand markings are more visible on this form than any of the other forms. The color will vary from light to darker even on the same form. We call it a living finish and it is most appropriate for those who have the opportunity to embrace the nature of the raw material.
METAL FINISH: The metal rod of the Simple Sconce is available in a satin brass, oil rubbed brass, or antique brass finish.
